In this lesson students, we will be going more deeply into the Bujin archetype and why people think it is easy to play. Before I start though, the Bujin archetype is a lot more hard than you think it is and if you truly play Bujin with all of your heart you will know what to do and how to do it.
People usually look down on Bujins because they are an easy deck to play, as they revolve around Bujingi Crane, Bujingi Turtle and Hare and Bujin Yamato. However, there is a lot more to Bujins than people usually think.
The Beast-Warrior Bujin Mikazuchi, was the second Beast-Warrior to be used in duels as people did not realize the potential it had. People still don't. Bujin Mikazuchi's first effect can be used when a Bujin Beast-Warrior is destroyed by any means and then can be special summoned from the hand to replace that monster. This is useful for a second means of defense. Its second effect is that if during the End Phase, if a Bujin monster was sent from your hand to the graveyard during that turn, then you can search your deck for a Bujin spell/trap card. This is good if you use Yamato's effect to dump a Bujingi Turtle from the deck to the graveyard and then you use Mikazuchi's effect to get a card like Bujincarnation.
This is a very useful combo in any Bujin deck as it adds more in-depth strategies to use for your own uses.
The Beast-Warrior Bujin Hirume came out at the same time as Bujin Arasuda (see next paragraph) and can be used for the Hirume-Arasuda combo. To summon this card (you can't normal summon her) you have to banish a Bujin monster from the graveyard to special summon her. Her only effect is that if she is destroyed by an opponents card, card effect both played can discard a card. This is useful for dumping cards into the graveyard (Turtle, Hare).
The Beast-Warrior Arasuda is a peculiar Bujin monster and can be used in a different number of ways. His first effect is where if a Bujin monster in the field or in the graveyard is banished, you can special summon him. There are many ways you can bring him out like this, the most common way is Bujin Hirume's effect, where you have to banish 1 to special summon her, then you can special summon Arasuda as well. Another way is if you use one of the Bujingi Beasts effects, negate/destroy a card and you get a special summon as well! Arasuda makes it much easier to Xyz as well, being able to special summon in so many ways. His second effect is that if a Bujin monster is searched from the deck and added to your hand, you can draw a card and discard a card. This is good for extra draw power, and maybe dumping them Turtles and Hares. Maybe even plan for later.
This is the Xyz section.
Bujintei Tsukuyomi is a Rank 4 Bujin monster that can be special summoned simply by overlaying 2 Light monsters on your side of the field, therefore making an easy summon because of the new meta, Satellars (see
https://newworldacademy.forummotion.com/t222-what-do-you-need-to-know-about-satellarknight for more details), you can easily just mind control and Xyz. Plus, it nicks one of their monsters. This monster allows you to discard your whole hand (at least 1) to draw 2 cards. This is useful because you can set all of your spells and traps then dump the remaining monsters to the graveyard to draw 2 cards. However, it has a low attack to be careful of that.
Bujintei Kagutsuchi is yet another Rank 4 Bujin monster that can be Xyz summoned by overlaying 2 Beast-Warriors. This card is a useful beatstick for only 2 materials as it can go from 2500 to 3000. Its first effect goes off right as its summoned, send the top 5 cards from the deck to the graveyard and Kagutsuchi gains 100 Attack for each Bujin card sent that way. Its second effect is if a Bujin Beast-Warrior would be destroyed you can detach 1 Xyz material from Kagutsuchi instead. Brilliant defense doubled up with Turtle.
The last Bujintei Xyz monster is Amaterasu, probably the most turbo out of all of the Bujin Xyz (fastest special summoning monster). This monster requires 3 monsters overlayed together to make this card, but real Bujin players would use some combos above (see previous paragraphs) without much difficulty. Its first effect is that once per turn, you can detach an Xyz material to target 1 of your banished level 4 or less monsters and special summon it. This can be useful for the Hirume-Arasuda combo to banish Bujin Yamato and bring him right back. The second effect is that during your opponent's turn you can detach a material to add one of your banished monsters back to your hand.
This is all for the Bujin archetype, be sure to reply down in the comments below in how I did as a teacher.

PS: If I missed anything out it is most likely because it is half 11 in the night and I stayed up during the night writing this.
