Hello there members of NWA. Im THE GOD OF GODS and today im coming at you with another article, but this time its about Spirit Beasts.

For those of you that havent heard of that archetype they came out in  Booster SP: Tribe Force. Now what is interesting about the archetype is that it brings back the Contact Fusion (Contact Fusion allows you to fusion summon without Polymerization or other fusion cards). The monsters are 2 tipes: Spirit Beast Tamers, and Noble Spirit Beasts. For each of the Fusion cards (Tamed Sacred Spirit Beasts) You need one Spirit Beast Tamer and one Noble Spirit Beasts - To contact fusion. Also when you contact fusion you need to banish the monster listed for the Fusion. Now Contact Fusion isnt the only way to bring out the fusion monsters as there is the spell card ,,Bond with the Spirit Beast" witch allows you to summon the fusions without having to have a Tamer and a Noble Spirit Beast (Or said staight up, you can summon the monster ignoring its summoning conditions). Now each of the fusions have there own great eff to help maintain advanteg. The main eff that they have is that during either player's turn you can return the monster to the extra deck, then target 1 of your banished "Spirit Beast Tamer" monsters and "Noble Spirit Beast" monsters and special summon them in defense position. There other eff also depends on there stenght. Now there is a hight attack one "Apelion the Tamed Sacred Spirit Beast" that was a great eff that makes him unaffected by other cards when attacking. There is a medium stats one (Kannahawk the Tamed Sacred Spirit Beast) that has the eff of getting 2 of your banishd "Spirit Beast" cards to the grave and then you can add one "Spirit Beast" card from your deck to your hand. And the final one that has low attack but hight def (Petolphin the Sacred Spirit Beast) is unaffected by card effcts.

Now i want to talk about the effects of both Spirit Beast Tamers, and Noble Spirit Beasts. Now the effects of the tamers are basically trying to help you get the noble spirit beasts on the field so you can make a contact fusion. The effect of "Wen the Spirit Beast Tamer" allows you to special summon one of your banishd spirit beast monsters. The eff of  "Elder of the Spirit Beast Tamers" gets you another normal summon witch can get you another eff of a tamer so that means another summon. Finaly with the eff of "Rera the Spirit Beast Tamer" you can special summon one "Spirit Beast" monster from your grave. They are the key to get your enjine going and if you play your cards right you will always have something to summon.

The effects of the Noble Spirit Beasts are alot more diffrent. They all try on getting you more field advanteg. Also for you to activate there eff you need to banish one "Spirit Beast" either from you deck, hand or grave. The eff of "Apelion the Noble Spirit Beast" is: Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can banish 1 "Spirit Beast" card from your Graveyard; this turn, all "Spirit Beast" monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF. This can help you alot when you contact summon for lets say "Apelion the Tamed Sacred Spirit Beast". That fusion monster will become a 3100 unaffected by cards when attacking beat stik. The eff of "Petolphin the Noble Spirit Beast" is: Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Spirit Beast" card from your hand, then target 1 card your opponent controls; return it to the hand. This card is a Compulse for every card on the field. Your opponent has a BLS or a problematic XYZ on the field, this card can get rid of it. Also if there is a trap that furts your play like Vanity's Emptiness or maybe a Call of the Haunted well problem solved. And finaly the eff of "Kannahawk the Noble Spirit Beast" is: You can banish 1 "Spirit Beast" card from your Deck, and if you do, add that card to your hand during your 2nd Standby Phase after activation. I personaly dont like that eff as much and usualy i dont wait till my second standby phase and bump the card for maybe getting it back with "Wen the Spirit Beast Tamer".

For the strategys and combos i have to say there is alot that you can make, so im gonna try my best to give you the best ones. Its always good to start with a hight attack monster so the basic combo of summoning Elder and then Normal Summoning a "Noble Spirit Beast" monster and then going for a  "Apelion the Tamed Sacred Spirit Beast" and maybe some good backrow line up is the perfect move. Further on in the duel the combo of summoning Elder then going for a Wen and Special Summoning Petolphin and use his eff to get rid of a big monster or a nasty backrow and then get for a good fusion attack is always a good choice too.

I want to talk about some of the good spells that are working well in the deck.  You need to run the Spirit Beasts Fusion card (Bond with the Spirit Beast) tho its up to you how much of them you are gonna run (I like 3). Now an awesome spell i found to work great in that deck is "Battle Fusion" as its good if your opponent gets a stronger monster then your fusion one when your opponents monster attacks you can activate "Battle Fusion" and then you monster gets attack points equal to the attack points of your opponents monster. In my build i also run 3 MST and 1 Soul Charge.

Now for the Trap line up its great to run the Spirit Beasts trap card (Combination with the Spirit Beast) - If you control a "Spirit Beast" monster: Destroy any number of monsters on the field, up to the number of "Spirit Beast" monsters you control. Another good trap is "Bright Future". It can help you get back 2 of your Psychic-Type monsters (All the Spirit Beast Tamers)  to the grave also draw 1 card. For the other traps you can run some jeneric backrow to be protected.

Finaly i want to say some cards that will hurt Spirit Beasts. Cards like "Imperial Iron Wall" that prevents banishing witch means that you cant summon your Fusion monsters, and also you cant activate many of there effects. As all the monsters in this archetype activate there effects on the field "Skill Drain" will hit the deck hard as well.

nice lesson this archetype may not be the most powerful of the 3 new archetypes but it is definitively my fav of the 3 bringing back contact fusion as u said but also putting its own spin on it with banishing an the art work for the cards is beautiful especially the fusions

And please, don't call yourself the god of gods when your not even on my level of ygo.

The article is smh though.

You should put each card in there with its effect and then explain to us what the effect does and how it could be used to gain total advantage over 1 another.

Now if you actually read what I said you will realise what I suggested.

I said put EACH CARD NAME IN THE TOPIC WITH ITS STATS, TYPE, AND EFFECT INCLUDED AND THE UNDER NEATH IT EXPLAIN WHY THE DECK IS GOOD.

Well i did test alot the deck and after dueling with most of the meta decks i saw that the deck can be pretty competative. About my build its still updating tho i like how it works. I didnt pur each card only cuz on my last article that was the complaine for Judgment Dragon. Also im going to update the article and do it better and make it biger with more explanetion after i finish making a big tourney over at GDA. Tho when suggesting you can try telling something good about the article.

well like spirit beast deffinetly have there weakneses witch makes them pretty weak sometimes. Also once i got into a Spirit beasts Mirror match and to be said i found alot of trouble beating the guy cuz he knew what he was doing and got me good sometimes. I cant say that the current meta cant do anything tho i tested these guys with a satellarknight player and well they got sreckd real hard. ( with Petolphin i sent delteros and triveir 3 times back to the extra deck).

I woud love to start understanding necloth but there are some decks that i can figure out... xD

you forgot to mention about some combo....

spirit beast combo(1) draw power engine

draw power is very important for any deck, even draw power not good like searcher, but this deck really have good draw power.

i saw your deck, you only use 1 bright future? bright future can also combo well with 2 more psychic support cards.

bright future(normal trap)

Target 2 of your banished Psychic-Type monsters; return both those targets to the Graveyard and draw 1 card.

look like normal right? but if combo with this card?

psychic trigger(normal trap)

Activate only while your Life Points are lower than your opponent's. Select 2 Psychic-Type monsters in your Graveyard. Remove them from play and draw 2 cards.

and another is......

psychic overlord

Target 3 Psychic-Type monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle all 3 into the Deck, then draw 2 cards.

well, this card not work so well in this deck, this card use to recycle....
